The icon of Christ Pantocrator is the oldest known icon of Christ Pantocrator ad is from the Saint Catherine's Monastery, Mount Sinai. The two different facial expressions on either side may emphasize Christ's two natures as fully God and fully human.

**I made the item used technique similar to decoupage. The high quality image is mounted up set down to the peace of wood, that I cut and sanded by hand. The back is stained and painted, sides are painted dark red. The sealer and light gloss varnish applied make the top of the icon water resistant. Ready to hang.
