Russian icon of Nicholas Wonder worker (Николай Чудотворец). The original was created at 16th Century.
*Size: 5 1/2" X 7 1/3 X 3/4" or 14 cm x 18.6 cm x 1.9 cm.
*Saint Nicholas is the patron saint of sailors, merchants, archers, repentant thieves, children, brewers, pawnbrokers, and students.
Because of the many miracles attributed to his intercession, he is also known as Nicholas the Wonder-worker.
The original icon was created in 15th century, and is currently housing at the State Historical Museum of Moscow.
*I make the item using a decoupage technique. The sealer medium and light gloss varnish were applied to the top, that makes the icon water resistant. Ready to hang.
