Poor Mans Repair Of A Busted Table Saw Rip Fence

I got this table saw at a yard sale several years ago for $10, but the other day I saw that the plastic part on the rip fence had broken. I have no idea how that happened, but here is my redneck poor mans repair of the rip fence.
