Wired-edged ribbons is recommended for less tugging. Securing the butterfly on the clip is optional. so you can reused the clip as many times as you like. Ribbon length is about (width x 9)+ 1 inch for wide ribbons (width x 8) + 1 cm for thinner ribbons
