Blocking a Knit Hat, Earflaps & Adding Ties

There is a big difference between "homemade" and "handmade" and a few simple steps will bring your knitted hat to the "handmade" level. Don't forget to block the finished item to even out the fabric and add ties to the earflaps that won't come off.
